Thank you for being SO awesome Katie, and doing this again even though you’re so busy!! I’d love to help in any way possible and will try concocting some more buttons for the challenge. ;)

Here’s to a new year filled with fabulous contemps!

I think I’ll join in this time! There’s plenty of contemporaries on my to-read! :D

I agree; it’s so awesome of you to host this! Contemporary has to be my favorite genre (although all the others are close seconds), so I have a lot on my TBR. This will be fun:)

Awesome! I have already signed up. (Forgot to do so last night when I created the page. Or more like, I created it too close to midnight ;) ) I hope to be able to read quite a few books off my shelves that way.
    Thanks, Katie!

Oh my gosh Katie I am so excited to participate in this! I’d been looking for a contemporary challenge and seeing yours just made my day :) I wasn’t too big a fan of contemporaries till a few months ago when I read Sarah Dessen and became hooked. Now I have the chance to explore the genre more while doing a fun challenge. So thank you!

I’m so sorry but I overlooked the link to your list part of the rules in my excitement! My list isn’t up yet but I’ll get right on that!

I read so much contemporary, I think I need to participate! I’ve also already read a couple 2013ers so I could easy do level 1. I’ll check back in this weekend!

Yeah another challenge! I need to read a little more contemporary. I’m going for Level 1 for now.

Thank you so much for hosting this challenge! I’m starting at Level 1 but I hope to end up at Level 3 by year end. I really need to read more contemporary novels and I think the only way I will do it is as part of this challenge.

I’ve never read much contemporary YA romance… which makes this a fun challenge. 5 books should be easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I’m not the biggest contemporary reader, so I’m excited to dive into this challenge. Thanks for hosting :)

    Hi!
Just a quick question- I live in the UK so can I count books that weren’t published here until 2013?
    Thanks!

This sounds like so much fun. I just joined :) I used to be mostly only a YA fantasy/sci-fi/paranormal girl, but last year YA contemporary really grew on me. Now I’m hocked.

I love contemporary but seem to have drifted away from that genre so I’m excited to get back to it!
