Kait Rose was created in January 2009 as an outlet to share my love of books with fellow readers. While it’s content has grown with me over the years, I still have a passion for young adult books and do feature them here frequently. You can also expect to see books featured from some of my other favorite genres which include, but are not limited to, horror, romance, historical fiction, and thrillers.
About me:
I’m Kaitlynn, a 33-year-old dog mom living in Missouri.
I have a passion for books and am always looking for new people to share that passion with. My day job has nothing to do with books though it’s always been a dream of mine to work with readers and authors in one way or another.
Random facts about me:
- My favorite book growing up was Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine. It is still one of my favorites and holds a special place in my heart.
- My favorite genres to read are romance, thrillers, and fantasy
- My favorite movies are include all Pirates of the Carribean, all Harry Potter, most of the Marvel movies, and both National Treasure films.
- When I was two-years-old I was bitten by a brown recluse spider and though I have no memory of it, I am terrified of spiders to this day.
- I listen to any and all kinds of music but some of my favorite bands are Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, The Eagles, and of course, Taylor Swift.

Hi Katie! Reading your “about” section was like reading about myself, im not even kidding!! Also, I am a major book lover and i was thinking to blog myself but I really have no clue where to start. I’ve read other blogs as well and I love how so many people make blogger friends, and I wish more than ever to be a part of it.
I welcome any suggestions and motivation that you or anyone else here could offer me?
