SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t read the previous three Blue Bloods novels this review might contain spoilers.
The Van Alen Legacy, the fourth installment in the Blue Bloods series, is by far the best book so far. It was full of so many shocking surprises and twists that I never could have expected. I thought the end of the last book was a shocker but this book held many more.
The story starts off a year after the end of Revelations and it really just takes off from the very first page. It’s told in three points of view, those of Schuyler, Mimi, and Bliss. Right from the beginning I learned so many things that really came out of nowhere and completely changed what I thought of some of the characters. It was definitely a case of not judging a book by it’s cover. I saw sides of Mimi and Bliss that I didn’t even know they had and it changed everything I thought I knew.
I don’t think I’m really going to say anything else. I want to do the book justice and I think that the best way I can do that is by letting you read it for yourself. Full of mystery, suspense, action and romance, I think the fourth book really appeals to all readers. The only complaint I have is the long wait for the next book!

  1. Okay, I didn’t read your review because you say it contains spoilers, and I haven’t read the books yet. Just wanted to say I’m glad to see they did so well. I’ve been worried about character development in these books, but they got a 10/10. YAY!!

  2. I’m glad you liked this, I read the other books in the series and loved them, this one is sitting on my shelf waiting to be read, theres just a few more I want to read before getting there! You got me psyched for when I do read it though:]
