“I can’t sleep.

It’s not just the sound of the rain outside. It’s not the unfamiliarity of the bed I’m lying in. It’s not my mother’s deep, uneasy breathing next to me. It’s the thoughts. They will not go to sleep, so I cannot go to sleep.”

So far, I am really liking this. It is horribly sad so far but I think it is supposed to get better. I seem to be reading a ton of sad books lately or at least books that make me sad. I think I will pick a happy one next. =]

Also, I am reading The Valentine Legacy by Catherine Coulter but it is a trashy romance novel so I don’t include it in my teaser today. I just thought I would mention my dark side and my secret or not-so-secret addiction. I love any trashy romance and I am not afraid to admit it although sometimes the covers embarrass me if I read them in public. =P
