Book: The Hollow by Jessica Verday
Release date: September 1, 2009 from Simon and Schuster
Summary: When Abbey’s best friend, Kristen, vanishes at the bridge near Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, everyone else is all too quick to accept that Kristen is dead…and rumors fly that her death was no accident. Abbey has never felt so desperately alone. Then she meets Caspian, the gorgeous and mysterious boy who shows up out of nowhere at Kristen’s funeral, and keeps reappearing in Abbey’s life. Caspian clearly has secrets of his own, but he’s the only person who makes Abbey feel normal again…but also special.
Just when Abbey starts to feel that she might survive all this, she learns a secret that makes her question everything she thought she knew about her best friend. How could Kristen have kept silent about so much? And could this secret have led to her death? As Abbey struggles to understand Kristen’s betrayal, she uncovers a frightening truth that nearly unravels her—one that will challenge her emerging love for Caspian, as well as her own sanity.

Gosh this just sounds amazing and who wouldn’t be drawn in with a cover and synopsis like those? I just love all these new books that are coming out this year and Jessica Verday’s has been at the top of my wishlist since I heard about it a couple months ago. I only have a little less than a month to wait for this one but it still seems hard when I want to read it so bad. Also, I love that it is going to be a trilogy because I always love more books. =]
What are you waiting on this week?
I am looking forward to read that book as well =)

I love covers with pretty people on them, and the book really does sound fantastic! My only concern with reading this book is that I’ll be thinking of Narnia with seeing the name Caspian, LOL.
I haven’t done my WoW yet 🙁
I am definitely looking forward to The Hollow too. 😉
Both Marisa and I want to read this! It sounds so good!
