Book Haul! (104)

Book Haul is a weekly feature here on Katie’s Book Blog.  It is not something I created and I take no credit for it.  Anyone who wants to participate can and you don’t necessarily have to call it a book haul. It is a list of what books you have received over the previous week, either for review, from the library, from the bookstore, or from trades.
For review:
The Hourglass Door by Lisa Mangum
The Dark And Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan
The FitzOsbornes In Exile by Michelle Cooper
The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann
Open Wounds by Joseph Lunievicz
Entwined by Heather Dixon
Bought:
Wicked by Gregory Maguire
Bratfest At Tiffany’s by Lisi Harrison
Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith
Lucky T by Kate Brian
To Die For by Christopher Pike
Lamplighter by D.M. Cornish
The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey
Old Magic by Marianne Curley
Eon by Alison Goodman
Meridian by Amber Kizer
Virals by Kathy Reichs
Yes I know I have two copies of The Golden Spiral this week.  I bought one and two days later I got it for review.  I also have another copy of the first book so look for a giveaway for those two very soon.
I bought a ton of books this week but they were either from the thrift store or from my closing Borders.  I can’t seem to stay away.  And some of them were actually gifts from my mommy so I didn’t have to spend my own money on them.  =)
What was in your mailbox this week? Oh and which of these do you want me to read and review next?

  1. WOW so many books. I read Virals earlier this year and loved it. I’m looking forward finding out what happens next. Enjoy all of those great reads.

  2. I haven’t read any of the books you mentioned this week, but I really want to read Eon and Virals! I’ve heard such great things about them. Meridian is also sitting on my TBR pile ๐Ÿ™‚
    Have a great week!
    My IMM

  3. Oooohhhh, Eon was fantastic! And I see you’ve got a ton of fantasy/paranormal. ๐Ÿ˜›

(And I feel super-guilty about leaving a link in the comments, but… here’s my IMM.)

  4. Ooh, lots of great books! I can’t wait to read Entwined, and it looks like you got a bunch of good books from the thrift store and Borders. Happy reading ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Holy moly! You got some fabulous books this week!

I just read the Forest of Hands and Teeth, and it was amazing! I can’t wait to read the next two! I’d say you should read and review The Dark and hallow places next, but I haven’t even read The Dead-Tossed Waves yet.

Review Entwined! I’ve been pining for that one. All of them look god though.

There are lots of books here that I haven’t even heard of! I’ll have to go check them out. Thanks!

  6. Oh my gosh… you got The Unwanteds? Lucky! I can’t wait to hear how much you loved it!

I actually haven’t heard of several of the novels you got this week so I’ll definitely have to search them up on Goodreads to learn more…

    Happy Reading! ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. I think you should review Eon :). I haven’t heard of any of the other books except Entwined, which should be arriving in my mailbox soon enough.

Also, I’m new here, and it’s really cool that you set your images on a slideshow like that. I am so not talented enough with HTML nor will I ever be to do that. I also like header. It looks like you used brushes in photoshop for those curls? Whatever you did, it looks awesome.

It looks like this week will be awesome for you with all those books :). Happy reading!

  8. I would say you had a pretty epic book week! I am reading The Dead-Tossed Waves next so I’m anxious to see how the series progresses and then read The Dark and Hollow Places as soon as I can! Enjoy your books ๐Ÿ™‚
