My name is Meghan Chase.

I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.

This time, there will be no turning back.

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t read the first two books in this series, this review may contain spoilers.

The Iron Queen is fabulous, as expected. In my opinion, Julie Kagawa can do no wrong. This addition to the Iron Fey series is wonderful and once again I am left dying for more (in a good way)!

Meghan Chase is finally going home, or so she thinks. Too bad the inhabitants of the Nevernever have other plans for Meghan. Since she is the only one with the ability to stop the false king, she must go back and not only is she in danger but so is all of faery, including Ash. Can Meghan stop the false king or will it turn out to be an impossible task?

My favorite characters are back and just as lovable as ever. Ash is sexy and loving, Puck is his hilarious self, and Grim is even more mysterious than usual but what I loved the most is that Meghan is slowly growing more confident in herself. There were also some new developments with some old characters and I really liked where everything went. Everything tied together so well.

Do I even need to say anything about the plot? If you have read either of the first two books, you know it never drags. (And if you haven’t read the first two, what is wrong with you?) I swore to myself I would read just one more chapter and that chapter turned into the last 200 or so pages of the book. Needless to say, I didn’t get any homework done while reading this one. =)

Overall, I highly recommend going out and getting your hands on a copy of this book, like NOW! The Iron Knight just shot to the top of my list of books to get my hands on.

I reviews this one too, over at rivreads.blogspot.com

  2. Tell me about it. I didn’t get any homework done either – I just sat there reading, and when I finished I sat in silence for a while, and then almost started crying when I realised how far away The Iron Knight was. I’m so glad you liked it, and lovely review :).
