First Line Friday (1)

First Line Fridays is a new feature that I have come up with and it will hopefully become a weekly feature here at Katie’s Book Blog.  It all depends on what you guys think of it!

For this feature I will pick 5 to 6 books that are on my to-be-read list and post the first couple lines.  You guys will then vote on which book you think has the best first line.  I will then read and review that book before the next Friday where I will post new first lines and so on.  I think you guys get what I am trying to say.  =)

  1. This is a fun feature!
Based on the first line I’d say Forgotten. But if I were you I would drop everything and forget about the whole fun feature thing to just get started with Crossed!

  2. Based on first lines im gonna say Vampire Academy! but i’d love to hear your review of Possession (whose first line is also great) before I read it….so my vote is for Possession 🙂

  3. I love how the first line of Vampire Academy really captures Lissa and Rose’s link 🙂
