Today I have an interview with Lucy from Keeping It Real With Lucy!

What are you like outside of blogging?

Family! I love spending time with my mom, dad, and brother. I also am a sports fanatic. I play basketball and golf. I love watching men’s and women’s college basketball, and college and NFL football.

What book changed your life?

Now this is a toughie. It would be either Toby Wheeler: Eighth- Grade Benchwarmer by Thatcher Heldring or No Limits: The Will to Succeed by Michael Phelps. Toby Wheeler… because I was just like him this year. I was the “eighth-grade benchwarmer” for my school this year. I had to keep trying to actually play more than one minute. (Even though it didn’t happen… except one time) No Limits… because it shows you that that when you put your mind to something in sports or school, you can always strive to achieve your goal.

What made you decide to start your blog?

Kathy, over at The Brain Lair bought it up at a book club meeting. I was like sure… After writing on her blog for about four months I just started my very own blog!

What blogs/bloggers inspire you?

Oh man. There’s so many! Of course you Katie. Then there’s H.D at Reading Writing Breathing, Melina at Reading Vacation, Kathy at The Brain Lair, Aneeqah at My Not So Real Life, London at London Cole, Rebecca Fisk at Wishy Washy 27, and Monica at Cover Analysis. There’s so many more, but these are the ones coming to me! But most importantly it’s the bloggers who take their time to get to know you.

What are your goals for your blog in the future?

I want to influence people. I want to be the next generation of “teen bloggers”. I also want to make tons of new friends!!

What is your best book blogging moment?

I don’t have a favorite. Just all the good laughs I get. I try to make my posts funny… This then stirs up some twitter fun

Favorites:

-Book of all time- Uhm, The Next Door Boys by Jolene Perry. I always have a new favorite but that book sticks to me!

-New release- Whisper Walker by London Cole… I loved it!

-Genre- Realistic Fiction!!

-Place to Read– I have this big pink chair, my bed, the couch. Just any where that’s quite!

-TV show– Glee, Smash. And that new Niecy Nash show… Can’t think of name. She’s hilarious.

-Candy– Hmm, Cadbury’s chocolate. (I’m from England so it’s fitting) I can’t have peanuts so really anything without peanuts!

-Drink- Apple Juice! I’m obsessed. I go through a big thing of it like every 3 days!
