This week I decided to have a little fun and showcase some books that I think have pretty spectacular covers!
Title: 17 & Gone
Author: Nova Ren Suma

Seventeen-year-old Lauren is having visions of girls who have gone missing. And all these girls have just one thing in common—they are 17 and gone without a trace. As Lauren struggles to shake these waking nightmares, impossible questions demand urgent answers: Why are the girls speaking to Lauren? How can she help them? And . . . is she next? As Lauren searches for clues, everything begins to unravel, and when a brush with death lands her in the hospital, a shocking truth emerges, changing everything.
Fia was born with flawless instincts. Her first impulse, her gut feeling, is always exactly right. Her sister, Annie, is blind to the world around her—except when her mind is gripped by strange visions of the future.
Trapped in a school that uses girls with extraordinary powers as tools for corporate espionage, Annie and Fia are forced to choose over and over between using their abilities in twisted, unthinkable ways…or risking each other’s lives by refusing to obey.

They call it the Heist.

The Heist itself. And what lies beyond the Wall that surrounds Claysoot–a structure that no one can cross and survive.
Climbing the Wall is suicide, but what comes after the Heist could be worse. Should he sit back and wait to be taken–or risk everything on the hope of the other side?

What books are you waiting, wanting, wishing for this week?
All catch the eye in their own way. I remember when I was young, buying so many books and albums by cover alone. I found some real gems that way.
Great choices! They do have awesome covers. I’m really excited for Mind Games and Taken!
Mind games is gorgeous! And I love purple so I was instantly drawn to The nightmare affair.
They’re all really eye catching. It’s nice to see some variety in YA covers
Mind Games and Paper Valentine have such gorgeous covers! I can’t wait to check them out 🙂
I am so in love with the Taken cover. The colors are just so gorgeous together and I am really looking forward to the story as well. 17 & Gone and Mind Games are also ones that drew me in and I am excited for. 🙂
TAKEN and PAPER VALENTINE have really gorgeous covers! I hadn’t heard of THE NIGHTMARE AFFAIR before, but that cover is also really pretty!
I’d definetly choose Mind Games and Taken.
I love all of these and I can’t wait to read either of them!!
Like you, I am absolutely dying to read Mind Games! The cover is completely eye-catching and the premise is attention grabbing. I have to be honest though and say that I have never come across your first choice: 17 & Gone. I’ve seen all other choices but that one, so now I’m incredibly interested in it.
LOVE all of these covers so much! And they all sound good too (especially the Nightmare Affair; a nightmare protagonist?)
They are wonderful covers. I’m looking forward to TAKEN and PAPER VALENTINE.
Mind Games, Paper Valentine & The taken are so pretty ^^ And all those books are on my wishlist!

Mind Games is great! It’s got a scifi feel to it with the pixel-like design.
