  1. The Scorpio Races has a great first line – but I’m going to use the knowledge I have a few of these to push or not-push ones anyway. 😛 Vesper actually turned out to be a fun, engaging, and different read for me – I really was surprised by it. Sisters Red, however, is basically one giant do-nothing book that says “THIS IS MY THEME” with not enough nuance to pull it off.

  2. Wow, The Scorpio Races has an amazing opening line! Would be hard to look past that one if i were you 🙂 By the way, i love this feature. Short, simple, to the point. Nice!

  3. I’m probably too late on this (and outvoted) but I read the Scorpio Races and really liked it. I didn’t read The Sisters Red, though, and would love to see a review on it so I’d vote for that.
