Waiting, Wanting, Wishing is a feature here on Katie’s Book Blog. There are so many books out there that I want to read and this is a good way to spotlight some of them.
This week I am spotlighting some series conclusions that I am dying to read!
Title: Shades Of Earth (Across The Universe #3)
Author: Beth Revis
Release date: January 15, 2013
Amy and Elder have finally left the oppressive walls of the spaceship Godspeed behind. They’re ready to start life afresh–to build a home–on Centauri-Earth, the planet that Amy has traveled 25 trillion miles across the universe to experience. But this new Earth isn’t the paradise that Amy had been hoping for. Amy and Elder must race to uncover who–or what–else is out there if they are to have any hope of saving their struggling colony and building a future together. But as each new discovery brings more danger, Amy and Elder will have to look inward to the very fabric of what makes them human on this, their most harrowing journey yet. Because if the colony collapses? Then everything they have sacrificed–friends, family, life on Earth–will have been meaningless.
Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has been transformed. The nascent rebellion that was under way in Pandemonium has ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the fight.
After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels, and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancée of the young mayor. Requiem is told from both Lena’s and Hana’s points of view. The two girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.
Title: Boundless (Unearthly #3)
Author: Cynthia Hand
Release date: January 22, 2013
The past few years have held more surprises than part-angel Clara Gardner could ever have anticipated. Yet from the dizzying highs of first love, to the agonizing low of losing someone close to her, the one thing she can no longer deny is that she was never meant to live a normal life.
Since discovering the special role she plays among the other angel-bloods, Clara has been determined to protect Tucker Avery from the evil that follows her . . . even if it means breaking both their hearts. Leaving town seems like the best option, so she’s headed back to California – and so is Christian Prescott, the irresistible boy from the vision that started her on this journey in the first place.
As Clara makes her way in a world that is frighteningly new, she discovers that the fallen angel who attacked her is watching her every move. And he’s not the only one. . . . With the battle against the Black Wings looming, Clara knows she must finally fulfil her destiny. But it won’t come without sacrifices and betrayal.
Eve is trapped in the City of Sand, married to a man of her father’s choosing, but she can’t forget her love for Caleb—or her passion for the rebel cause. When rebel armies invade the city, Eve uses her position as princess for the ultimate act of rebellion—to kill her father, the king. Then tragedy strikes, and Eve must choose who to leave behind, who to save, and who to fight in this final battle for freedom.
Title: A Touch Menacing (A Touch Trilogy #3)
Author: Leah Clifford
Release date: March 5, 2013
Eden is dying—for the second time. But she won’t let a little thing like that get in her way. Not when she is the only person in existence who can stop the unnatural plague that is creeping through the mortal world. Friends are becoming enemies, and enemies are everywhere. Nothing is black-and-white. Eden’s journey will lead deep into the shadows of New York City. Love—and life—are on the line in this eerie, compelling conclusion to Leah Clifford’s dark and original trilogy.

I really need to catch up on the Unearthly series-I enjoyed the first but still haven’t read the second, which I really want to do before this third book comes out.
I haven’t started any of these lol. I gave up on Eve. But I do need to finish a few series…
Yes, I cannot wait for Requiem!!!
I’m looking forward to all of those! I can’t wait for the Matched trilogy, The Tigers Curse Series, The Firelight Trilogy, The Ashes Trilogy, The Bloodlines Series, and many more.
I want to finish up the ACROSS THE UNIVERSE series. I wish some others were concluding soon.
I am really looking forward to Shades of Earth, Requiem and Bound too. I’m sad to see them end, but it will be bittersweet. I haven’t read any of the Eve or A Touch Trilogy yet. Must get a move on it. 🙂
