  1. I can’t wait to see what you think of Transparent – it sounds so incredibly fun, and has gotten great reviews so far. My only question about the premise is that she’s invisible – why is it such an issue for her to escape her father? I mean… walk out…? I don’t know. It’s probably something that will be cleared up in the book, but right now it seems like a gap in logic.

Also, Night School sounds awesome and it’s gotten great reviews from people in the UK, so I look forward to seeing what you think of that, and I especially look forward to seeing what you think of Pivot Point, because I think you’ll love it and it’s awesome and Trevor is adorably awesome and everything is awesome so yeah.

    Awesome haul, Katie!

    1. Funny you should mention the invisible person having trouble escaping. I was wondering how that would work too. Seems pretty easy to me! I’ll have to read it and see. =P

  2. Looks like you got a whole bunch of great stuff. I’m really excited to read Pivot Point. I’m glad it’s releasing in a few days since I have birthday money and I’ll be able to get it right away. Enjoy all your new books and have a great week! 🙂

  3. Books written by male authors and/or from the male POV seem to be some of my favorites. I enjoyed Pivot Point and I’m really looking forward to Golden, How My Summer Went Up in Flames, September Girls and Wild Awake! Hope you enjoy, Katie, I always love watching your hauls!

  4. Awesome haul! I just finished reading Right of Way and I adored it, it was soooo good. I can’t wait to read How My Summer Went Up in Flames, I love road trip books and can’t wait to get my hands on a copy, so jealous =). Night School was one of my favourite reads of 2012, I suggest to read it without reading any reviews or plot lines because the less you know the better and more awesome the book will be =). Pivot Point and Transparent both look awesome, I’ll have to add them to my TBR. Happy Reading!

  5. :O SO MANY AWESOME Books!! Transparent looks interesting but gotta with Blythe couldn’t she just go invisible and escape? Will look forward to ur review on that 🙂 Im so excited for Wild Awake, Night School, and September Girls (Guy POV’s rock). The Wonderful Wizard of Oz DOES HAVE THE CUTEST ART!! Never Heard of Neptune’s Tears but added to TBR.

-Super AWESOME books this week Katie!

  6. I’m reading Etiquette & Espionage right now and loving it! SO excited for September Girls and Night School.

Awww—we probably won’t cross paths again until maybe Vegas next year, Katie!! That’s sad! It was great seeing you, sweetie!

  7. I love your new books! I’m kind of jealous that you got The Dark Shore. I’d love to read that one! Unfortunately I wasn’t crazy about Wild Awake. It really wasn’t for me! But I think it’s definitely a ‘taste’ thing, so I hope you love it. 🙂

  8. It always amazes me that you manage to stay afloat and kicking when the pubs are trying to DROWN you in ALL THE PRETTY BOOKS. This is an AMAZEBEANS haul, and I hope you enjoy the dust jackets off of each of ’em 😀

  9. Lots of wonderful books! 🙂
Eeep! I knew September Girls had a male author but I wasn’t aware it was told from a male POV. I guess YA mermaid story along with the title made me assume otherwise. I’m even more excited now to read it. Thanks for sharing that info.

  10. ok out of all these publishers, I would definitely choose simon&schuster books because those three are on my wish list!! I didn’t know Right of Way is a companion novel to two way street! that is fabulous!
