April Wrap-Up + May TBR Suggestions + Giveaway!

April was a pretty awesome reading month for me and I must say that you guys really helped me with that.  Getting suggestions from readers really helped me out.  I normally stress and worry about what to read and having a list to go by made things so much easier.  Because of that I decided to try it again this month but I’ll get to that in a little bit!

Completed challenges:

Let Me Count The Ways Challenge – 10,001+ pages

I can’t believe I’ve already completed one challenge.  My goal for May is to complete another one.  I’m thinking the End of Series challenge is going to be the easiest one to tackle.

Now here’s the fun part again!  I would love some help deciding what to read for May. It has to be young adult, traditionally published, and out within the past 5 years but other than that, I’ll check out pretty much anything. You can even suggest books that aren’t published yet since I do have a pretty extensive ARC collection. If I do have a copy of the book or can easily obtain a copy, I’ll read it. Bonus if the book happens to fit into one of my reading challenges for the year!

And once again, everyone who suggests something (even if I don’t read it) will be entered to win a book from my box of giveaways!  Just leave a comment with your suggestion and you’re entered to win.  And don’t forget that I need some way to contact you!

So, what do you suggest I read this month?

and for ebook i would recommend you a paranormal romanctic thriller the kindle edition of Storm force by susannah sandlin ( it’s a serial but if you buy it now it’s only 1,199 dollars for the whole books, later i will go up, the print edition will be released later( june))

but for yound adult i admit i know less but i do want to read Skin Deep by TG AYER ( it’s released in ebook and will be inprint in less than 2 weeks)

  2. Ugh, I know what you mean! I always struggle with picking what book to read next. I made a half-hearted attempt to follow a list once, but that didn’t pan out. I might give it another (real) try this time, since it worked so well for you. 🙂

Have you read Angelfall by Susan Ee? It’s one of my all-time favorites. Here are the five first chapters, if you’re interested: http://susanee.com/angels/angelfall-free-chapter.html

  3. Awesome job completing a challenge! I’ve actually been completing more of mine than I was expecting to, but I think that means I should challenge myself to more books in those challenges considering it’s only May lol. Have you read the Die For Me books by Amy Plum? They’re one of my favorite series 🙂

  4. Goddess by Josephine Angelini is coming out by the end of May. It’s the last book in Starcrossed series and if you haven’t read the other two books, it’s a good time to do it now, and use Goddess for the end of the series challenge.

    1. I have read Pivot Point and I adored it. I’m actually going to read The Distance Between Us by Kasie West soon. And good luck with your challenge! That one is difficult to complete.

  5. going vintage was super cute, great love interest. perfect scoundrels was good, as well. i’m reading The Summer I Became a Nerd right now and it’s really cute. also, just finished a really great adult book “She’s Gone Country” by Jane Porter. ~daphne

  6. I would recommend Life After Theft by Aprilynne Pike, if you haven’t read it yet. It’s amazing! And so funny. It’s one of those books you can’t help but love 😀
I just finished The Summer I Became a Nerd, and again, it’s so amazing! The perfect summer book.

  7. Gates of Paradise by Melissa de la Cruz, such a great series!! Also, Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone looks really good! I haven’t read it yet though.

  8. I have just started the Delirium series now (I know I’m a little late haha)! I am loving it and I will be posting a review soon! 🙂

  9. Have you read Cinder or Scarlet by Marissa Meyer? I really enjoyed Cinder but haven’t got around to picking up Scarlet yet, but it promises to be good 🙂

    1. I have read both Cinder and Scarlet and I completely adored them both. Such good books. I hope you get the chance to read Scarlet soon!

    2. Cool, I’m glad you enjoyed them. Scarlet is about mid-way down my TBR pile…I just started my ARC of Gameboard of the Gods by Richelle Mead. I’ve only read about 20 pages but it certainly looks promising!

  10. How about Siege and Storm or Sweet Peril for your Sophomore Reading Challenge? I loved the first two books!

    Thanks,

  12. Gorgeous by Paul Rudnick recently found its way to my To Read pile… hope to be starting it next week. Looks fantastic!

  13. Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep, Also Known As by Robin Benway and Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood are some that I have read and enjoyed lately. Also the Darkness Rising series by Kelley Armstrong. 🙂

  14. I’m reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline right now and even though it kind of boarders the line of young adult and adult, you should check it out!

  15. I’m now so interest with NA genre, so you may try : a song for julia, remember to breath, the last hour by charles miles seehan, hopeless by colleen hoover, the edge of never, relentless, pieces of you by cassia leo, in the stillness by andrea randall.

  16. Try to read Merch Girl by Rebecca Lewis. It’s her debut novel. And it totally has a good story. Very refreshing! Also, I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You by Ally Carter is also good. Though it’s not the best book of Ally Carter’s Gallagher Girls series, it will still get you hooked. Who doesn’t love books about spies, right? 😉

  17. If you want an ARC try out The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings. Though as far as I know not even the ARC’s have been published yet.

  18. Stung’s a great dystopian published this year (and I don’t even like dystopians)

Eleanor & Park was also good. Have you read Grafitti Moon? it came out last year too but it’s really awesome.

  19. Oh! If you want a new adult that’s really meaningful, try the Flat Out series by Jessica Park (Flat out Love and Flat out Matt)
