It’s day four of the 15 Day Book Blogger Challenge hosted by April from Good Books and Good Wine.
Today’s prompt is about the last book you’ve flung across the room. To be honest, I don’t do this very often, especially since I read a lot of books on my ereader but there are a ton of books that make me angry or frustrated enough to want to throw them.
The most recent book that I’ve actually thrown across the room was Requiem by Lauren Oliver. Looking back now I’m actually not all that upset about the ending but right when I closed the book I just couldn’t handle it. I couldn’t believe that was the ending. I was so mad that there wasn’t more of a concrete resolution. If you want to know my thoughts about Requiem after cooling off, feel free to check out my review.
What was the last book you flung across the room?
I still haven’t read Requiem, but I think this is why … I haven’t had the best luck with series finales and I’m so scared that this one will suck! I’ll have to get on it. Hopefully I don’t get frustrated and want to throw it across the room! 🙂
I felt the same way about this book! I read the last page on my kindle and was like “omg you’ve got to be kidding me!”
I thought about flinging my kindle across the room, but decided I’d better not. I love my kindle too much. Lol
I’ve accepted the ending now that I’ve had some time to process it.

With distance it’s not as bad I first thought it was, but even to this day I won’t recommend the series because of that ending.
Aly @ My Heart Hearts Books
Haha, I haven’t read that book, but I definitely know the feeling! Some endings are just cruel to the readers!
-Jessica (Peace Love Books)
I’ve been really hesitant to pick this one up after Pandemonium. I have no idea what she is planning and I’m not sure I want to know.
-Mari @ The Sirenic Codex
I’m yet to start the Delirium series but it’s quite disappointing that the ending of a book was a letdown 🙁 I do hope it doesn’t make me not read Delirium.
Day 3 & 4 Blogger Challenge
Did the same, I wanted more, I wanted them to get more, have more hope.
When the last book ends on a less than happy or hopeful note, it makes me mad at the whole series.
