August TBR!

I’m not even going to attempt to recap the books I read in July because I was a slacker and barely read anything.

Here’s what I hope to read in August!

-A Wounded Name by Dot Hutchison
-A Little Too Far by Lisa Desrochers
-Just Like Fate by Cat Patrick, Suzanne Young
-Infinityglass by Myra McEntire
-The Theory of Everything by Kari Luna
-The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider
-Find Me by Romily Bernard
-Just One Day by Gayle Forman
-Just One Year by Gayle Forman
-OCD Love Story by Corey Ann Haydu
-Counting by 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan
-The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
-The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater
-The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
-All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrell
-Starry Nights by Daisy Whitney
-Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
-The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
-The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas
-Crash Into You by Katie McGarry

So what do you think?  What should I read first?  And what’s on your TBR for August?

  1. You are so right to expect a lot from Cat Patrick and Suzanne Young, that one was AMAZING! <33 A Little Too Far sounds amazing from your description too :)) I hope you read all of the books that you want to! <3 I love all of those OCD stories, it seems so gritty and real 🙂 I feel like I’m one of the only people who didn’t like Eleanor and Park, but Fangirl sounds so amazing too :)) The fanfiction idea sounds so amazing!

    Fantastic post, Katie!

  2. I haven’t yet read any Rainbow Rowell (but want to). I have a signed copy of The Raven Boys, but STILL haven’t read it. I love your vlogs – I always end up adding more books to my TBR.

This month my big books to read are Cinder and Pivot Point 🙂

  3. So many delicious books! *pets* I’m going to be reading some of these too, including Fangirl and Just Like Fate (I hope). Such fantastic books, Katie!

OH AND CRASH INTO YOU? I’m jealous.

  4. Don’t worry I’m another blogger who hasn’t read Eleanor and Park. It’s on my tbr stack though so hopefully I’ll get to it soon.
I was the same with Raven Boys! I’ve had it all year and put it on various tbr’s for past months but never got around to it. This month I finally put it on top and I finished it last night. I loved it. I hope you do too. Totally jealous of The Dream Thieves.
I also can’t wait to see what you think of Crash Into You. It looks amazing.

  5. OMG yes, please read The Knife of Never Letting Go! I LOVE that series! The beginning is weird and it takes a bit to get used to but it’s worth it to continue. The author has another new book coming out in September too, More Than This. I LOVED that one too!

  6. I’m reading The Raven Boys right now. I had a really hard time just concentrating on the first 50 pages, but now I’m really enjoying it. This is my first Maggie Stiefvater book and I’m blown away by how amazing her writing is.

  7. Ahhh, you have SO many awesome books on this list, it’s a bit ridiculous. Although you NEED to read The Knife of Never Letting Go. It is one of the most underrated series of all time, IMHO, and I love it to flipping pieces. Also, I can’t wait to see what you think of Crash Into You! I’m so jealous you have a copy in the first place. The Darkest Minds is also superb. You are going to LOVE it! *clutches heart* Although that ending…

Lovely post, Katie, I’m looking forward to your reviews!! =)

  8. I literally said OOOOO good taste out loud, because I am a total dork like that.

When you read The Knife Of Never Letting Go make sure you have tissues on your person. Seriously, if you are at all soft-hearted, that book will slash you up into ribbons it’s so good and emotional and ugh, perfect.

I just legit finished Just One Year last night and am actually procrastinating on typing up my review by commenting on this TBR post. You are in for such a treat. It’s soo good and it will make you want to travel.

ALSO! The Burning Sky! I bet you will love that one.

  9. I love your t-shirt!

I always have trouble sticking to TBRs, but I still enjoy planning what I’m going to read so it gives me an idea.

The Knife of Never Letting Go is AMAZING, and I also adore All Our Yesterdays.

I’m planning on getting to The Burning Sky this month as well, and I’m really looking forward to it! Everyone seems to love it.

  10. Ahh, you’ve got so many interesting books in there! Would love to hear what you say about The Darkest Minds, Fangirl and The Knife of Never Letting Go! 🙂

  11. Glad you enjoyed most of the books you hoped to read! It’s fun reading the blog backwards in a way, because you can see what the blogger liked and what their initial expectations were 🙂
