As part of the book blogger summer reading program I promised you guys some mini challenges and giveaways!  Here’s the first!

It wouldn’t be summer without those fun beach/poolside reads.  I don’t know about you guys but I love reading books set during the summertime actually during the summertime.  So here’s my challenge to you.  You have one month to read at least one book set during the summertime.  That gives you until June 13!  Shouldn’t be too hard and it should be pretty fun.

Want some suggestions?
-The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares
-Along for the Ride by Dessen
-The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
-Two Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt
-Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols
-The Au Pairs by Melissa de la Cruz
-Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler
-Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
-Endless Summer by Jennifer Echols

These are just some suggestions.   You can read any book set in the summertime.  And at least 75% of the book must take place over the summer for it to qualify.  That’s the only rule though.  It doesn’t matter what genre and it doesn’t matter if it’s a re-read.

What can you win?

A book of choice (under $15) from The Book Depository.

Technically, I haven’t finished it yet, but I got a good chunk read this weekend and being at work right now (instead of home reading) is killing me! Should be done within the next day or two though 😀
