I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump over the past couple weeks but I’m hoping the fact that I’m starting some of my most anticipated books of the year will help get me out of it.

As their darkest secrets are revealed, the tropical adventure morphs into a terrifying nightmare.

Endlessly twisty, sharply observant, and deliciously catty, She Started It is sure to shock readers until the very end.

I just finished She Started It and while it was enjoyable enough, it wasn’t anything special when it comes to thrillers. I was able to predict most of the twists and I honestly hated all of the characters though I don’t think readers were supposed to like them. Either way, it was a pretty quick read and entertaining most of the time.

I don’t even need to read a synopsis or see a cover and I will add a Riley Sager book to my TBR. I’ve read all but one (I need to read Final Girls) and while they aren’t anything spectacular, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them all. I’ve just started this one and can’t wait to really get some time to sit down and binge it.

Emily Henry is another auto-buy author for me. I’ve read all but People We Meet on Vacation and I’m hoping to get to that one this summer sometime. I’ve heard a ton of great things about Happy Place and I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to get around to reading it. I am very excited to finally start it next!
